The project objective is to address the issue of business continuity in microfinance banks and to provide support to the vulnerable population and micro-entrepreneurs in the informal sector that are exposed to health risks and urgently need health insurance and other basic insurance products, like risk insurance for smallholder farmers.

Carried out through intensive capacity building programme extended to senior management of microfinance  banks covering 214 microfinance banks and 348 participants, the programme was run in 2 streams of 4 days classroom training delivered in Lagos, Ibadan, Owerri, Calabar and the Federal Capital Territory.
